Hey, welcome to Texas, and thanks for visiting my little corner. I take it you're in North Texas from the pix (Especially the ice storm pics). I went to UNT in Denton back in the late 80's, so I know the area well.

In fact, over the years I've lived in San Antonio, Galveston, College Station, Denton, and now Alpine, so I know the entire state pretty well.

BTW: Your wife is SMART, because driving on ice is suicidal. LISTEN TO HER! LOL!

Welcome to my blog, Sir, and good call. We are now staying in Little Elm, close to Denton. My wife's mother is in Frisco and our new house is in McKinney.

It's nice of you to stop by. I'm afraid this isn't as interesting as your site. I spend a lot of time with the fine group of people at Teh Squeaky Wheel and some were interested in details on the house, so I set up this blog to post more information then I felt comfortable putting on that site. The commenter s here are all from that group. I do plan to post on some other things that interest me later. I hope you will stop by. I will certainly be looking in at your site, if you don't mind.

You would be most welcome at the Wheel if you would care to look in. It's an interesting group from all over the country. It started in July of 06. A gentleman like yourself would be very welcome if it looked of interest to you.

Gentle Mac! You had a visit from the very neat guitarist! *wow* That is nice.
Now, when are we getting more photos, Sir?
Have you decided on what trees to plant? I suggest five mighty oaks...

all you need is 5 little acorns.

Ahem...all you need are five little acorns.

Long day...heh.

I can't wait for the setting up of the machine shop in the garage!

I left a comment on his blog and he answered both here and there. He just opened a professional blog as well. He has an announcement and link. Thank you for pointing me there, Gentle Lady. He is an interesting Gentleman.

The shop may take a while. It will probably cost from twelve to twenty thousand for the machines, mill, lathe, saw, and maybe surface grinder. I will also need bench tools such as a belt sander and bench grinder. I will see how things go. We got less for our last house and paid more for this one than we expected, but I think we will end up OK. In any case I will set up a workbench and workshop. It will be handy with the new house.

I am along for the ride, gentle friend. I will enjoy whatever you share!

I will have to go back to hucbold's site.
