Except for the gutters and some repair work the outside is about done. The grass is brown and dormant. Bermuda grass seems to be standard here. In California we pulled it as weeds. It does survive the freeze.

Mac, what a beautiful home! It shows such good taste in design- the yard too. Just imagine when you can relax out there when everything's green!
LOL! Thank you, Chell. For the most part I try to avoid the sun, but we certainly have plenty of space for a garden and whatever else we want. We had actually planned on a small, easy to care for yard but needed the larger lot for the three car garage. We are looking forward to unpacking everything (or at least having everything unpacked). We will need a LOT of bookcases, tables, shelves, and the like. I will be busy.
